In Person Art Critique with Florencio Lennox Campello

MAA's tradition is to hold a critique session by one of our talented, local, professional artists.  This year we are excited to welcome local artist Lenny Campello, to join us for a 90-minute in-person critique session. During this 90 minute session, Lenny Campello will review 12 members’ work and provide feedback.  

Members who would like to watch and listen to Lenny's comments, but do not want their work critiqued, please register accordingly.

Guidelines

• Please bring ONE piece of artwork you would like Lenny to critique on October 7, 2026
• You must be an MAA member to participate in the critique.
• We have 12 spots for this session.
• Sign ups are first-come, first-served; we’ll have a small waiting list.
• Please do not sign up formore than one critique slot; we want to ensure that many members get this opportunity.
• Everyone (members and non-members) are welcome to watch the critique sessions.

About Lenny Campello:  Florencio Lennox Campello was once described by The Washington City Paper as “… one of the most interesting people of Washington, DC”and subsequently, while participating in the Art Basel Miami Beach week of art fairs, Brickell Magazine, in describing the people, fairs and art taking place that week in the Greater Miami area noted that he was “one of the most intriguing minds in the city.”

Campello is not only an artist – he studied art at The University of Washington School of Art in Seattle, from which he graduated in 1981 – but also a highly respected curator, a widely published art critic, an author, and one of the Internet’s Top 15 art bloggers.
