Open Studio Meeting: Saturday, August 1st, 2026, at 1 to 4 pm
Please join us at our next Open Studio gathering - a welcoming creative space designed for artists of all levels to gather, share, and grow together. All artists and art enthusiasts are welcome. Whether you’re a painter, sculptor, photographer, writer, or multidisciplinary creator, this is your time to immerse yourself in the joy of making art—side by side with a supportive community.
Open Studio is a casual, drop-in session to foster the 3Cs:
Creativity, Conversation, and Community.
Artists will:
- Work on personal projects in a calm, inspiring environment
- Meet fellow creatives, exchange ideas, and spark new collaborations
- Share techniques, receive feedback, and uplift one another
- Build community, inspiration, and momentum for your creative journey
What to Bring:
- Bring your own art project and supplies
- Your own snack and drink
- Plastic, newspaper, or tarp to cover the table
and, bring your ideas and your passion - you will find support & community among friends.

Dr. Wendy Shiau is more than happy to do the demonstration and make the introduction of "Zentangle art". The core philosophy of Zentangle centers on the principles of “one stroke at a time” and mindful presence. Beginners are advised to start with the officially recommended monochromatic palette – Beginners are advised to start with the officially recommended monochromatic palette – all you need are paper, a fine-line black ink pen, a graphite pencil for shading and a blending tool or cotton swab.
Open Studio Limit: 20 members and their guests (members may bring one guest).
Cost: The registration fee is $10 per person.
