Artists in Motion| March 15th 1:30 - 3:00 PM at Goldman Art Gallery
Join us for a special afternoon of art demonstrations, conversation, and creative discovery during Montgomery Art Association’s exhibition, Where the Light Falls, at the Goldman Gallery.
You are invited to drop in, enjoy tea and cookies, and watch three outstanding MAA artists demonstrate their unique artistic processes.
This relaxed and interactive event offers a rare opportunity to see artwork come to life and to speak directly with the artists about their materials, inspiration, and techniques.
Featured Demonstrating Artists:
Mark Adler
Mark will demonstrate his distinctive and award-winning tea bag
paintings -- an inventive and expressive medium that has garnered wide recognition. His work as recently juried into the prestigious Strathmore International Small Works Show.
Beverley Hunter
Beverley will demonstrate techniques used in creating her magical mosaics, sharing how individual pieces come together to form richly textured and luminous works of art.
Lisa Zadravec
Lisa, an award-winning colored pencil artist and respected instructor, will demonstrate her refined colored pencil techniques and discuss the unique possibilities of this versatile medium.
Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase prints and small mosaics directly from the artists during the demonstration.
This event brings additional focus to the Where the Light Falls exhibition and reflects MAA’s commitment to fostering engagement between artists and the community.
This is a free event and open to the public. But Please MAA Members -- register. It will help us plan appropriately for seating and ensure a comfortable experience for all attendees.
