MAA at Art Enables: An In-Person and Online Show

We are pleased to provide an opportunity for an in-person exhibition at Art Enables in DC. Our second show at the Art Enables gallery will run January 16-February 27, 2021, providing a socially distanced art viewing experience in-person and in a companion online gallery. Thirty-five works are accepted into this show, and drop-off will be managed in a way that keeps you and gallery staff safe.

At a Glance

• Eligible media: Oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, pastel, encaustic, drawing/ink mediums, and 3D works.  All must be securely wired for hanging on a wall. 
  

• Subject: Any of your choice.

• Number of pieces allowed: Maximum of one entry per member up to a maximum of 35 works. Let us know if you would like to enter an additional work if there is space. 

• Membership: You must be a Montgomery Art Association member in good standing to enter this show.

• Entry fee: $5 per work (nonrefundable)

Key Dates

• Registration open: December 1-28 (or earlier, if maximum capacity of 35 works is reached)

• Drop off: Tuesday, January 5 through Friday, January 8, 9:30 am-5 pm

• Show dates: Saturday, January 16 through Saturday, February 27, 2021 

• Pick up unsold artwork: Monday, March 1 through Wednesday, March 3, 9:30 am to 5 pm

About Art Enables: Art Enables is a DC nonprofit that provides creative and vocational training to artists with disabilities. The organization also runs two art galleries, and a portion of proceeds from sales goes to support Art Enables’ mission. Our show is in the Off-Rhode Gallery at 2204 Rhode Island Ave. NE, just south of DC's Brookland neighborhood.
