Will your artwork stand the test of time?
What painting practices and materials are best to keep your artwork pristine decade after decade?  If you have asked these questions, then you don't want to miss this tutorial.

Jay Krueger is the senior conservator of modern paintings and head of the painting conservation department at the National Gallery of Art. He is a past president of the American Institute for Conservation and a founding board member of Voices in Contemporary Art, an organization that brings artists, curators, and conservators into conversation about preservation issues.

Jay will provide a brief overview of painting conservation at the Gallery, present a few recent projects, and have plenty of time to respond to member’s questions about painting materials and techniques.

Please have your art conservation questions ready!

Zoom info: The workshop will be held via Zoom. For security reasons, the Zoom link is provided to registrants in your confirmation email and in the reminder email we'll send you the day before.
