About Glen Kessler: Glen is the founder and director of The Compass Atelier in Rockville, as well as a Gamblin dedicated workshop instructor. He has taught at the university and community level for over 20 years. He has a BFA from MICA and an MFA from New York Academy of Art.

Glen was awarded a 2013 Maryland State Arts Council (MSAC) Grant, 2 Elizabeth Greenshields Grants, and a Prince of Wales Fellowship. His artwork is collected widely internationally, and is in the public collections of Prince Charles, Amazon Web Services, Capital One Bank, Ford’s Theater, Yale University, The George Washington University, Boston University, Maryland Institute College of Art, St. Mary’s College of Maryland, and The Writer’s Center in Bethesda, MD. His artwork has been featured in The Artist’s Magazine, ArtsyShark, and Professional Artist Magazine.
