Our second “Our Stories” online exhibition will focus on the theme of “journeys.” How you define “journey” is up to you. It could be as literal as a trip you took to Italy before the pandemic began, or the artistic expression of an emotional journey you took at some point in your life. Submissions can be traditional, conceptual, abstract, or experimental. The interpretation is yours to decide.
As a part of this show’s theme, every submission must be accompanied by a paragraph of 75 words or less describing the journey depicted in your work. We encourage you to use storytelling techniques to make your story pop!
We also ask that you ensure your member profile on our website is up to date, as we will use your headshot photo and link to it on the show page.

Registration: March 9-19, 2021 (or earlier, if maximum capacity of 100 works is reached)
Show dates: April 1-May 31, 2021
Eligible media: 2D or 3D works
Number of pieces allowed: Maximum of one entry per member.
Membership: You must be a Montgomery Art Association member in good standing to enter this show.
Entry fee: $5 nonrefundable fee per piece of artwork. The fee is waived for registrants of our Artists' Storyteller Lab; please use the registration code that was emailed to you last week. (If you need it again, please email elissapoma@gmail.com)
