Does the physical act of making art create stiff, achy muscles?  Want to learn how to relieve (and maybe even prevent) these aches and pains? Then this is the workshop for you!

Peri Evanoff will be leading a short workshop covering basic stretches for artists.  These stretches will range from neck and jaw, all the way down to the feet.

{It will be helpful to have a broom stick (with the broom part disconnected) and a hard chair (folding chair or dining room chair).}

This free workshop is for MAA members only. We can accept a maximum of 100 registrants.

Peri Evanoff is an ACE certified Personal TrainerSpinning® instructor and AFAA group exercise instructor in the Washington D.C. area with over ten years of experience.  She is also a NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist and Integrative Nutrition Health Coach.  Peri specializes in women’s fitness and strength (ACE certified).

Peri's approach to training and exercise is balance. There is a time for strength, mobility and flexibility and they are all required to achieve one another. She believes in bio-individuality and that each person requires her to approach their training uniquely for them to make their one body and mind as robust and healthy as they can. It is her job to give them the tools and their job to do the work. Peri's website with more information is  https://www.peri.fit.

Zoom info: The workshop will be held via Zoom. For security reasons, the Zoom link is provided to registrants in your confirmation email and in the reminder email we'll send you the day before.
